Our History
Founded in 1994. Moved into the bookstore in the new library at this location in 2005. We are a 501c3 nonprofit which exists to support the Bonita-Sunnyside Library as it strives to encourage literacy, lifelong learning, and the love of reading throughout our diverse community.
We are a group of approximately 130 community members who work together to support our beloved library. Click here to see about becoming a member.
Most of our funds are generated through our Friends of the Library Bookstore. We accept donations of all kinds! Click here for more info.
We have thousands of books – fiction hard cover and paperback books, nonfiction books in every genre, coffee table books, vintage books, large-print books, children’s and YA books, reference books, cookbooks, books in Spanish, DVD’s, CDs, audio books and more!
What we do with the Monies Raised
- Purchase 10-15 bestsellers every month for the Library
